DEFINITIONS
Order
your order for the Services as set out in your completed and submitted purchase order form, or your written acceptance of a quotation by Us;
Services
the services that We are providing to you, namely the collection, transportation and delivery of goods from the United Kingdom/Ireland to Hong Kong or Taiwan;
Terms
the terms and conditions set out in this document; and
We/Our/Us

Door-to-Door
Our ‘door-to-door’ shipping service will take your shipment from the collection address at the door of the building (kerbside) redeliver to the door of the property at the destination address where a lift is available.
Transit Time
It starts from the date when payment and full & complete shipping documents are received until the date the shipment is available for redelivery to your destination address.
When We use the words "writing" or "written" in these Terms, this will include e-mail unless We say otherwise.
1.OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
1.1
This contract is between you and Us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
1.2
When you sign and submit the Order to Us, this does not mean We have accepted your order for Services. Our acceptance of the Order will confirm by emails and assign an order number to the Order. If We are unable to supply you with the Services, We will inform you of this in writing.
2.CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
2.1
You may make a change or cancel any Order for Services at 2PM before the start date for the Services. We will confirm your cancellation in writing to you. If you cancel an Order and you have made any payment in advance for Services that have not been provided to you, We will refund these amounts to you.
2.2
However, once we have begun to provide the Services to you before collection is being made, a cancellation fee of GBP30 + GBP5.00 per carton will apply. However, where you have cancelled an Order because of Our failure to comply with these Terms (except where We have been affected by an Event Outside Our Control), you do not have to make any payment to Us.
2.3
Once We have begun to provide the Services to you after collection, you may cancel the contract for the Services within 24 hour in writing. Any advance payment you have made for Services that have not been provided will be refunded to you. You will be responsible for the cancellation fee of GBP30 + GBP5.00 per carton plus return logistics costs.
2.4
We may cancel the contract for Services at any time with immediate effect by giving you written notice if you do not pay Us or you break the contract in any other material way and you do not correct or fix the situation within 10 days of Us asking you to in writing.
3.PRICE AND PAYMENT
3.1
The price of the Services will be set out in Our price list in force at the time We confirm your Order. Our prices may change at any time, but price changes will not affect Orders that We have already confirmed with you.
3.2
These prices include UK VAT but exclude destination Duty & VAT.
3.3
Overweight – additional charge will apply for any weight in excess of the maximum 30kg per piece.
3.4
We shall invoice you on collection of the items in our warehouse after being weighted and measured. All relevant payment must be paid in full before any goods can be delivered.
3.5
Immediate Payment – Payment should be paid within 7 calendar days of the date of invoice by bank transfer or by card payment. Any overdue amount We may charge interest to you at the rate of 3% a year. However, if you dispute an invoice in good faith and contact Us to let Us know promptly after you have received an invoice that you dispute it, we will not apply for the period of the dispute.
4.PROVIDING SERVICES
4.1
We will need certain information from you that is necessary for Us to provide the Services, for example, full address, copy of passport photograph page, copy of airline ticket or passport stamp , completed packing list and declaration form. If you provide Us with incomplete or incorrect information and documentation, We will not be liable for any delay and may make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to cover any extra work that is required.
5.OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
5.1
We only supply the Services for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the Services for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose, and We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
5.2
Without prior agreement in writing by an officer of the Company so authorised, the Company will not accept or deal with Goods that require special handling such as bullion, coin, precious stones, jewellery, valuables, antiques, pictures, human remains, livestock, pets, plants.

6.EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
6.1
In the unfortunately event, there may be delays due to an Event Outside Our Control.
6.2
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, traffic jam, vehicle break-down, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
6.3
If an Event Outside Our Control takes place:
(a)We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible; and
(b)Our obligations under these Terms will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended. We will restart the Services as soon as reasonably possible after the event is over.
7.HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
7.1
We will use the personal information you provide to Us to:
(a)provide the Services;
(b)process your payment for such Services; and
(c)inform you about similar products or services that We provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting Us.
7.2
You agree that We may pass your personal information to credit reference agencies and that they may keep a record of any search that they do. We will not give your personal data to any other third party.
8.OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
8.1
UK delivery and collection –We only deliver and collect once in the UK/Ireland. You do not need to be present to receive or hand-over your packages as long as you advise us your friends or neighbour will take care of it. However, there will be a charge as the result of false call when no one is able to receive or hand-over your packages. We will endeavour to meet the selection of time slots you have chosen but it is not guaranteed.
8.2
We may charge you for any delay or false call caused by the false information given.
8.3
All air shipments are subject to a security inspection including an x-ray scan prior to loading. We cannot guarantee return any confiscated goods. Any prohibited Hazardous Goods found in your shipment will be removed and destroyed.
8.4
If there is no reference number or delivery information on the carton/individual packed item, an administration fee of GBP5 will apply.
8.5
We may transfer Our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, and We will always notify you in writing if this happens, but this will not affect your rights or Our obligations under these Terms.
8.6
You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person if We agree in writing.
8.7
All business is transacted under the BIFA Standard Trading Condition 2005 edition.
8.8
These Terms are governed by English law. You and We both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
